Hosting and technical data
The website runs on a Hetzner server in Germany. Visits generate technical logs such as IP address, time, requested URL and browser information for security and troubleshooting. The site uses no analytics or advertising trackers, external fonts or automatically loaded third-party media.
Contact form and email
Your name, email address and message are sent by email to handle your enquiry. The archive address forwards to Sascha Rossaint’s Proton mailbox. He also handles messages from Florida. Form submissions are not stored as a contact list on the website. A keyed hash derived from the IP address is retained for up to one hour to limit spam. No automated marketing messages are sent.
Purpose, legal basis and retention
Data is processed to respond to enquiries and secure the website. Where the GDPR applies, the basis is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f), or Article 6(1)(b) for contractual enquiries. Correspondence is retained only as needed for the enquiry, agreed cooperation or legal duties. Submitted material is not automatically published. Please do not initially send confidential or particularly sensitive documents.
Your rights
Applicable data protection law may give you rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
